Take Part in Organic Tillage Walks

A series of organic tillage walks are taking place over the coming weeks organised by Teagasc. The walks will cover a range of organic cropping issues, including crop rotation design, soil and nutrient management, weed and disease control, and the current organic market opportunities and future prospects.

Walks are open to all farmers interested in organic production methods, whether they have established organic enterprises or are simply keen in learning more about the experiences of Irish organic farmers prior to conversion.

The Irish Organic Association will be on hand to speak with farmers who have any questions with regards to organic certification and making the move to organic farming. Further information about becoming a member of the Irish Organic Association is available here.
