IOA AGM and Annual Conference 2013

IOA will hold its AGM on Tuesday February 5th in the County Arms Hotel, Birr, Co Offaly. The event will start with an organic lunch at 12 noon, followed by the AGM at 1.30pm. The AGM will conclude at 3.30pm with a short break for tea/coffee and some IOA producers’ tasty organic cheese!

The annual conference starts at 4pm with guest speakers Stephen  Briggs who will give an account of his experiences with Agro-forestry, Dr. Colin Sage from UCC who will discuss the pertinent topic “Can organic farming feed the world?”, and Gillian Westbrook, General Manager IOA who will give an interesting talk about organic farming development in Europe.
