Teagasc Organic Fetac Courses 2012

Teagasc have announced their Fetac Level 5 courses for autumn 2012 in Organic Production. Completion of the course is required if you plan to apply for the Organic Farming Scheme which is run by the Organic Unit of the Department http://www.agriculture.gov.ie/farmingsectors/organicfarming/organicsscheme/. The course gives a good overview of the organic regulations and principles. Applicants are also required to complete a business plan which is a good exercise for those planning to start organic production.

Date for the course are as follows;

19th November Teagasc Centre Ennis
20th November Teagasc Centre Portlaoise

Courses run from 10am-5pm for 4 days, over 4 consecutive weeks – cost is Euro 220.
