Applications for the Organic Farming Scheme 2025 Open

The Organic Farming Scheme 2025, operated by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, is open until 29th November 2024. Potential new entrants can visit the Irish Organic Association’s dedicated Organic Farming Scheme webpage to learn more about the scheme, farming organically and the application process to become a member.

As well as new entrants the Organic Farming Scheme (OFS) is also open to existing organic farmers, in particular small growers who may not have participated in past schemes. Farmers accepted into the Scheme can also avail of 60% grant aid under the Organic Capital Investment Scheme (OCIS) to support costs towards new farm buildings and upgrades as well as specialised equipment and machinery
