Bord Bia Food Business Workshops on new Brexit Trading Requirements
Bord Bia is organising a number of workshops on the Updated Trading Requirements for UK Market for all Irish and EU food and drink imports that may be of relevance to organic enterprises.
This includes workshops concerning horticulture, seafood, dairy, meat and general categories which will take place at various locations throughout the country from 1st to 13th September:
- Horticulture Workshop 1st Sept: Park View Hotel, Wicklow (PM)
- Seafood Workshop on 11th Sept Vienna Woods Hotel, Cork (AM)
- Dairy Workshop on 12th Sept: Anner Hotel, Tipperary (AM)
- Meat Workshop on Sept 13th: Killashee Hotel, Naas (AM)
- General Category Workshop on Sept 13th: Killashee Hotel, Naas (PM)
These new trading requirements will take effect from 31st October 2023, with new food labelling requirements for the UK market also starting from 31st December 2023.
The morning workshops (AM) will run from 9:30 – 13:30, followed by a lunchtime Q&A session. The afternoon workshop (PM) will run from 14:30-17.30.
