Directions to the IOA AGM – Coolanowle Organic Farm

The IOA AGM takes place on April 19th at Coolanowle Organic Farm.

Directions to Coolanowle:

Travelling from the West:

Coolanowle Organic Farm is approximately 40mins from Portlaoise travelling on the N80 towards Carlow. From Portlaoise you will take the N80, continue straight on that road through the town of Stradbally travelling in the direction of Carlow. After approximately 20 minutes you will come to a staggered crossroads, take a right and then an immediate left and continue straight on. After 1.5 miles you will see a sign for Coolanowle, take a left turn on the L3978. After half a mile, you will pass a church, then take the first right turn. Continue on that road for 1 mile, then at a sharp bend take a right and the entrance to Coolanowle Farm is 200m on the right.

Travelling from the South:

From Carlow take the N80 towards Portloaise, continue straight on that road. You will pass through Ballickmoyler and then through Arles, both small villages. Approximately 1.5 miles after Arles there is a sign for Coolanowle Farm, take a right on the L3978. After half a mile, you will pass a church, then take the first right turn. Continue on that road for 1 mile, then at a bend take a sharp right and the entrance to Coolanowle Farm is 200m on the right.

Travelling from the East:

From Athy, take the Castlecomer road which is the N78, continue through Ballylinan. After approximately 10km, you will meet the junction for the N80, take a left to Carlow. Continue straight and after 1.5 miles you will see a sign for Coolanowle, take a left turn on the L3978. After half a mile, you will pass a church, then take the first right turn. Continue on that road for 1 mile, then at a sharp bend take a right and the entrance to Coolanowle Farm is 200m on the right.
