EU Organic Awards 2024: Nominate Your Organic Farm or Business

Applications for the EU Organic Awards are now open until 12th May 2024, with the aim of rewarding excellence across the EU’s organic food and farming sector. There are several different categories including Best organic farmer (female and male), Best organic food processing SME and Best organic food retailer.

The EU Organic Awards, now in their third year, are an opportunity to showcase the very best of Ireland’s organic sector, and complement the National Organic Awards organised by Bord Bia every two years. Last year Irish Organic Association member the Merry Mill was the first Irish organic enterprise to win a prestigious EU Organic Award for Best Organic Processing SME. More information on how to enter can be found here.

The EU organic awards are jointly organised by the European Commission, the European Economic and Social Committee, the European Committee of the Region, COPA-COGECA and IFOAM Organics Europe, with the awards ceremony one of a range of activities and events to mark EU Organic Day which takes place annually on 23 September.
