Field Talk July 13th @ 2pm – Patrick Frankel Directions

IOA are holding the third Field Talk event planned for 2016 this Wednesday July 13th at Patrick Frankel’s in Cork. It starts at 2pm. This farm is a diverse range of enterprises comprising 5 acres of vegetable production, an orchard both existing and a newly established one, sheep, cows, geese and hens.

Directions to the Patrick Frankel’s organic farm, Doneraile, Co. Cork:

From Limerick

Take the N20 in the direction of Cork, after Charleville you will enter Buttevant, turn left at the Co-op, it is signed for Doneraile. After 3.5 miles you will come to a crossroads, go straight at the crossroads directed to Mitchelstown. Go up the hill and after half a mile on the right hand side is a gate lodge, that is the entrance. The avenue is approximately half a mile long.

From Cork

Take the N20, go through Mallow, continue towards Limerick. At Newtwopot House turn right which is sign posted for Doneraile, follow the road and drive through the town of Doneraile, at the end of the town is a bridge, continue on that road. You will pass the entrance to Doneraile Park on your right hand side, approximately 200 meters on you will come to a crossroads, take a right. Continue on that road and after half a mile the entrance is on the right hand side where the gate lodge is, the avenue is roughly half a mile long.
