IOA AGM and Conference May 23rd 2017

IOA are holding the AGM on May 23rd. Once again this year the event will be hosted at Coolanowle Organic Farm, on the Carlow/Laois border. The AGM takes place at 12 noon and is for IOA members only. It will be followed by a Conference in the afternoon looking at organic markets and growing innovation within the sector.

The programme of events for the day is as follows;

  • 11am: Hot rolls and refreshments
  • 12 noon: AGM
  • 2pm: Light lunch and refreshments
  • 3pm: IOA Conference (please see below)
  • 5pm: Organic supper with refreshments

The Conference starts at 3pm and features a wide range of IOA members;

3pm           Welcome address by IOA Chairperson John Liston

3.15pm     Gillian Westbrook – IOA CEO – Organic Markets and Marketing

3.30pm     Kevin Kennedy – ANU Dairy – Innovation in the organic dairy sector

3.45pm     Kenneth Keavey – Green Earth Organics – Selling direct to the consumer

4.00pm    Adrian Hyde – Munster Brewery – Organic craft beer production

4.15pm     Kevin Scully – Gluten free oats

4.30pm    Question and Answer Session
