Irish Organic Association Conference

26 June 2019 By IOA Webmaster

There was a good turn out for the Irish Organic Association AGM & Conference which was held on June 25th at Coolanowle Organic Farm. Following the AGM we held our annual conference and the diverse range of speakers was great. Howard Stanley spoke about animal nutrition and organic feed, Paula Butler outlined how their business Butlers Eggs have expanded over the years. Turlough Keenan from Monaghan grows organic heritage grains and his passion and enthusiasm was contagious. Eoin Clusky from Bread Nation exuded enthusiasm for organic farmers and the products they produce and Dr. Dolores Byrne from IT Sligo spoke about results based agricultural policy.
