McDonald’s to trial 100% organic burger on menus in Germany
McDonald’s has unveiled plans to serve a 100 per cent organic burger in a bid to overhaul its image and transform the firm into a “modern, progressive burger company”.
The fast-food chain announced it is tweaking its menus to include the limited edition McB burgers which will be made with organic beef sourced from organic farms in Germany and Austria.
It will offer the ‘bio’ McB burgers in Germany, one of its top European markets, from 1 October to 18 November. McDonald’s declined to say whether the company would introduce the burger in other EU countries.
