Aim of the course

This course will equip participants with the knowledge and work methods of how to set up, cultivate and finance a plot, polytunnel, or field for supplying a farmer’s market, restaurant or a box scheme with vegetables and herbs throughout the year. The course follows the growing season.

The course takes place on Wednesdays for 17 days: February – September from 10am to 4.30pm.

  • June 3rd & the 17th,
  • July 1st ,15th & the29th,
  • August 12th & the 26th
  • September 9th & the30th


The fee for this course is €1,030. A grant is available from NOTS (National Organic Training Skillnet) for those resident in Ireland.
