Organic Processing Investment Grant Scheme – Call for Applications

The Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine re-opened the Organic Processing Investment Grant Scheme on 24 May 2023. The Scheme provides financial assistance for projects investing in the processing of primary organic products, including the development of existing facilities, from preparation and grading to packing, storage and distribution.

Grant Aid is payable at 40% of the eligible cost for projects above €3,000 (excluding VAT), with the scheme open to all licensed organic operators registered with an approved organic certification body such as the Irish Organic Association.

The Scheme operates in tranches, with the first tranche running from 24 May until 23 June 2023. Subsequent tranche dates will be announced at a later date.
