Death of Minister McEntee saddens organic sector
The news of the sudden death of Minister Shane McEntee on December 21st both shocked and saddened the organic sector. “From the very beginning we found Minister McEntee a warm open individual who was willing to work with us at every level to develop the organic sector in Ireland” said Gillian Westbrook, General Manager of IOFGA. “In his short tenure as Minister he had shown himself to be dedicated to expanding the sector both at home and in the growing export market. At this difficult time our thoughts are with his family” she stated.
